Hand-fused 24 karat gold and oxidized sterling silver combine the rich, bright color of pure gold with the strength of sterling silver. The pieces are then oxidized, allowing the silver to turn a deep charcoal without affecting the gold and giving this work the high contrast appearance that is characteristic of the Judith Kinghorn style.
